Workshop – Masterclass

Our organisation would like to make our dancing meeting better and better. We offer you a chance to perfect your dancing and also give you an opportunity to try something new. Every year we arrange WORKSHOP – Masterclasses for selected days of our dance festival – competition. Our best teachers of dance give lessons in Classical, Modern dance, Hip-Hop or special excercise – Pilates. For the XXVIII^th edition we will have again prepared the workshops of Character/folk dance and Theatrical make-up. And also a workshop for pedagogues: it is a seminary of the classical dance (basic classical techniques – Vaganova method).

All lessons will be held in beautiful historical halls of the Ensemble of The National Theatre Ballet, not far from the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and the Lesser Town. Lessons will be given by professors of the State Dance Conservatory and Charles University Dance department.

Each participant will be able to choose 3 classes/styles (1x3, 1x2, 1x2 lessons) which he or she would attend during the whole time of the festival. Further changes are possible only after discussion with the direction of the NPDF 2024.

The experiences from this workshop let both the dancers and the professors to enlarge their knowledge and make their work better. We sincerly hope this opportunity will make all partecipants of NPDF 2024 happy and give them other unforgettable moments of our Dance Event.

Each participant will also obtain a certificate which will confirm the participation in the dance workshop 2024.
